A safe alternative to baby bottles

For those of you out there who are wondering what to do about replacing your hard plastic baby bottles...here's a solution. I just found out about BornFree baby bottles and cups. They are free of BPA and thus safer for your baby.
They are available at Whole Foods and Babies'R'Us. You can also purchase them directly from their website http://www.newbornfree.com/

Reminder - no matter what plastic you use, never heat them up and discard them when they look scratched or cloudy.

There are safer alternatives out there so don't take any chances!

Taline...I have been thinking about that for a while! I just wish I knew about it before I spent all the money on the AVENT bottles!

Hi,

As I am writing this for the 2nd (*&&&&$#@F) time I will be more brief. I recently bought the clear 2 0 water pitcher filter as when compared to the Brita pitcher it removed more organic contaminants (styrene, phenol etc. but be careful, you have to convert the ppm do mg/dL etc) It is, however, still a hard PLASTIC pitcher...therefore BPA loaded, most likely. The thought of transferring the water to a glass bottle occurred to me but since the filter is supposed to stay wet (why?) this doesn't really solve the problem. The Brita tap based filters remove lots of the organic chemicals but not the heavy metals that the pitcher systems do...bizarre. I suggested a combo and was told I was starting to border on insanity. What is a person who wants uncontaminated water to do?

Hi Paula, same here, I wish I knew about the bottles earlier myself. A possible solution is to find a glass pitcher & put the brita filter in it.It will be a tad strange as the filter will float but guess what, it is for the moment the best solution I came up with. We use the Brita tap water filter on the faucet as well.Hope it helps, let us know ! Nutri Cel

Hi guys!

I guess the best solution is to get a water filtration system that connects either to the faucet or the pipes under the sink.
